Artsreach present 'SWING FROM PARIS'
Swing from Paris are an all-string jazz quartet that take inspiration from the music of the 1930s, 40s and 50s.
Swing from Paris have been delighting audiences for over 15 years with their Parisian-flavoured jazz and gypsy swing: from major jazz festivals including the Django Reinhardt Festival, to the BBC’s Hairy Bikers and even the opening of the award-winning Gloucester Services!
Performing on violin, guitars and double bass, the quartet play a range of popular swing classics inspired by Gershwin, Edith Piaf, Django Reinhardt, Stéphane Grappelli and the master of tango, Astor Piazzolla, amongst others.
Expect a variety of repertoire, interspersed with humour, storytelling and historical context that brings the music to life.

Moviola
During the Autumn and Winter months (October to March) a monthly “Moviola” is organised to show a variety of films in the Village Hall. Details of upcoming Moviola dates and showtimes can be seen below and on posters in surrounding areas and on the Village Noticeboards.
A bar is available on the evening, opening at 6:30pm before each film offering drinks beforehand and during the intermission. Seating in the hall is available from 7pm (for health and safety reasons) and films begin showing at 7.30 pm. Tickets for the evening cost £6.50 [cash payment on the night] and please book via:
