Duncliffe Garden Club are visiting Holme for Gardens, near Wareham on Wednesday 25th June.
The coach leaves East Stour Village Hall at 9.30 am and the cost will be £20 to include garden entry and coach travel.

Taff Rapids - Blŵgras From Wales

Cardiff’s bluegrass sensation, Taff Rapids, is taking the international stage by storm. Comprised of seasoned musicians Darren Eedens, Siôn Russell Jones, David Grubb, and Clem Saynor, Taff Rapids brings a fresh perspective to the bluegrass genre, infusing traditional American classics and captivating originals with Welsh-language elements for a unique global appeal.Their engaging live performances, rich harmonies, and instrumental mastery continue to attract audiences across the UK, Europe and Canada, whilst regular airtime on BBC Radio has solidified their reputation as an exciting new force in bluegrass. 2025 promises to be a landmark year with the highly anticipated release of their debut album, Blŵgras, and an extensive live schedule, including a return tour to Canada alongside tours and festival appearances across the UK and Europe.
With electrifying performances, rich harmonies, and unmatched instrumental prowess, Taff Rapids is set to become a powerhouse in bluegrass and beyond - don’t miss them playing live in Dorset, touring in partnership with Artsreach, the county’s rural arts charity!

Moviola
During the Autumn and Winter months (October to March) a monthly “Moviola” is organised to show a variety of films in the Village Hall. Details of upcoming Moviola dates and showtimes can be seen below and on posters in surrounding areas and on the Village Noticeboards.
A bar is available on the evening, opening at 6:30pm before each film offering drinks beforehand and during the intermission. Seating in the hall is available from 7pm (for health and safety reasons) and films begin showing at 7.30 pm. Tickets for the evening cost £6.50 [cash payment on the night] and please book via:
